• The SEER stimulates the exchange of information among researchers, trade unionists and actors who have a special interest in the political, social and economic development of the region of south-east Europe.
• The SEER highlights new research results and the latest analysis about the ongoing process of political and social changes in south-east Europe.
• The SEER encourages a greater degree of understanding over the importance of creating democratic structures in industrial relations.
• The SEER brings together contributions from different disciplines and 'political schools' that will interest policy makers, researchers, academics and trade unionists from various backgrounds.
