The new booklet provides information on different aspects of the European Company (SE) such as the question of worker involvement, the national transposition processes and taxation aspects. Moreover, information is given on the development and the different national systems of worker participation on supervisory or administrative boards throughout the European Union.

The purpose of this booklet is above all practical: it is intended for everyone who needs information about the SE and about existing systems of worker board-level participation in the now 25 EU member states. The idea is to give readers an insight into the national backgrounds and experiences of those colleagues who sit down with management and jointly negotiate the question of worker involvement in the coming SE.
