This section includes information on EU Programmes and budget lines, structured according to areas of interest to trade unions, a list of open calls for proposals and tenders and a newsletter, Trainers' Digest, to be published on an occasional basis, highlighting particular calls for proposals and other EU funding opportunities offering support for trade unions – available on our website and by e-mail.

The EUIS produces specific tools for helping trade unionists with designing and managing European projects, including handbooks on project management. They are published in several languages and offer valuable tips and suggestions.

The Education department organises transnational training courses on project management and on specific European grants of relevance to trade unions (e.g. the Budget Lines on Social Dialogue, the European Social Fund and EU grants for health and safety). The courses are designed to improve the quality of transnational projects for trade union officers and are aimed at trade union officers and project officers from ETUC-affiliated trade unions.
