To prepare education officers and trainers to implement a training strategy that will successfully meet their organisation's objectives and at the same time follow ETUC guidelines

• To be aware of the approaches and thinking underlying European social protection systems
• To analyse the structures and the impact of the reforms
• To understand the strategic objectives of the European trade union movement and how these can be pursued at national level
• To develop the mobilisation in support of those objectives and the fundamental values of the social protection systems, such as solidarity and social cohesion
