The Education and the Health and Safety Department of the ETUI-REHS will organise a course Health and Safety for migrants workers - a trade union challenge which will be held from 14 to 17 February 2008 in Budapest, Hungary.

This course aims:

• To reinforce a European network of trade union experts on health and safety for migrants workers
• To raise awareness of the health and safety issues for migrants workers
• To develop the trade unions’ capacity to deal with the problems of health and safety for migrants in their countries

The working languages will be English, French and Hungarian.

The Education Department of the ETUI-REHS will organise a course Free movement of workers which will be held from 23 to 27 January 2008 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

This course aims:

• to gain a better understanding of the role in which European trade unions can achieve minimum standards at the European level whilst respecting working conditions in host countries
• to get to know how to influence the national legislation process on regulating issues concerning the free movement of workers
• to exchange practical experiences and best practices on dealing with open labour markets
• to build up trade union capacity to deals with the issue of migration (migrants workers)
• to develop trade union activities for joint action and mutual support on free movement of labour

Working languages will be English, Bulgarian, Romanian, Italian and Spanish.
Participants: National trade union officers who are responsible for integration and migration issues.

Le département Formation de l'ETUI-REHS organise un stage intitulé Développement de la formation linguistique dans les syndicats européens qui aura lieu du 13 au 16 mars 2008 à Mamaia, Roumanie.

Les objectifs du stage:

• Prendre en compte les défis organisationnels et pédagogiques que présente la formation linguistique pour les syndicats européens ;
• Echanger des informations pratiques sur la conception de programmes de formation linguistique ;
• Faire connaître le nouveau matériel pédagogique (trois unités) de l'ETUI-REHS (niveau intermédiaire et avancé)
• Examiner les possibilités d’e-learning pour les formations linguistiques
• Etudier les possibilités de formation pour les formateurs amenés à former ce public au niveau national et européen

Le stage se déroulera en anglais et en français.

Public-cible : Sont invités au stage, les formateurs ayant une certaine expérience de la formation linguistique dans un contexte syndical et/ou des responsables syndicaux de formation concernés par l'organisation de la formation linguistique.

Le département Formation de L'ETUI-REHS organise deux cours intensifs : Anglais pour Comités d'Entreprise Européens (niveau moyen) d’une semaine chacun. Ces cours sont organisés en collaboration avec l’Université de Northumbria à Newcastle upon Tyne, Royaume Uni, aux dates suivantes :

Cours 752.27 : 3-9 février 2008
Cours 752.28 : 17-23 février 2008

Objectifs:

• Mettre en contact des représentants de Comités d’entreprise européens ayant une connaissance moyenne de l’anglais et leur permettre d’améliorer leur faculté de communiquer dans un contexte anglophone
• Donner aux représentants l’occasion d’échanger en anglais des informations et des points de vue sur des thèmes actuels clés en matière de développement des Comités d’entreprise européens, afin d’approfondir leurs connaissances et leur compréhension de ces thèmes et d’élargir leurs horizons
• Sensibiliser aux questions interculturelles et éliminer les barrières culturelles en vue d'améliorer la communication au sein des Comités d’entreprise européens
• Apprendre à s'exprimer en confiance en anglais en l'absence d'interprètes.

Le stage sera donné en Anglais.

Les participants doivent avoir au moins une connaissance de base de l’anglais.
Afin de déterminer le niveau de chaque participant potentiel, les membres sont priés de passer le Test Diagnostique, qui peut être obtenu auprès du Secrétariat de l'ETUI-REHS Formation.

Public-cible : Membres de Comités d'Entreprise Européens et responsables syndicaux à temps plein ayant des responsabilités au niveau des Comités d'Entreprises Européens.

The Education Department of the ETUI-REHS will organise a course Project Management for trade union officers in countries of Central and Eastern Europe – Specialist level which will be held from 4 to 8 December 2007 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This course will enable its participants:

• To provide project experienced participants with the additional skills and tools needed to manage and lead transnational projects effectively
• To enable participants to share and examine their experience in the planning and management process of projects

Working languages will be English, Lithuanian, Estonian and Latvian.

Participants should be trade union officers from education and training departments with experience in the management of European projects.
Taking into consideration the specific tasks in the preparatory phase before the course, we urge you to be particularly careful in the recruitment.
