c) European employment and social policies

Being a European research institute, it is natural for the ETUI-REHS Research Department to follow, monitor, analyze and assess European policies with special attention given to the macro-economic, employment and social policy fields. This we do within this programme area, which also takes into account the diversity of social models and employment regimes to be found around Europe. The interrelationships between the national systems and the European policies are of special relevance for the investigations and the possible policy recommendations.
