Michael Stollt

Bio/Description

Born 1975 in Bremen (Germany), he studied political science, public law and cultural studies at the University of Münster (Germany) and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Rennes (France), graduating in 2003. In November 2003 he started working at the ETUI as a research officer in the field of worker board-level participation and the European Company (SEEurope project, www.seeurope-network.org). During 2005 he worked as an expert on participation issues at the Social Development Agency. Back at the ETUI-REHS since January 2005, his responsibilities now include the development of a website on participation issues.

SEEUROPE - The Influence of the EU Directive on Worker Involvement

Major activity of the Seeurope-project is to pursue monitoring the introduction of workers' participation at European level, to collect and present all relevant information on the issue on an particular website of ETUI-REHS www.seeurope-network.org and to invest in conceptual thinking on how workers' participation fits in realization of the European Social model. Analytically, SEEUROPE intends to find out the contribution of workers' board level representation to a Europeanization of industrial relations.
