The training materials that are presented here were used on a specially-designed training course for the Lhoist company's "Euro-Forum", the third such course organised for that particular company. Though every course clearly addresses different needs, the sort of presentations used can often be relevant to similar companies and provide useful hints for trainers carrying out this type of course. The main focus was on health and safety considerations, so there is particularly useful material on EU legislation in that area, though also on general approaches to training of European works councils.
