This specially-tailored course brought together 23 workers’ representatives from 12 of the countries in the group, together with 3 management representatives. The aims were to improve understanding of the respective national representation bodies and of how they could be linked in to the European Committee (CGEAF-KL); to tackle the problem of intercultural communication between the various representatives; to define the role of the CGEAF-KL in relation to other local and national bodies; and to identify some areas for increased cooperation between the representatives that could be built into a work programme for the Group Committee.
