This handbook is the product of a LEONARDO IN FORCE project focused on the needs of EWCs in which ETUCO (now ETUI-REHS Education) was involved. The aim was to gather in a single document a series of dossiers intended for trainers and coordinators in charge of activities for the members of European Works Councils. It is a flexible working document and the training activities can be of interest to EWC representatives, trade union coordinators called upon to assist EWCs and also worker representatives in local company or group bodies covered by the EWC Directive but in which no agreement has so far been negotiated.
