Social dumping and the European social Model
Description
The aim of this publication project is to draft a discussion working paper on the phenomenon of social dumping that is often quoted by the media. We will create a conceptual framework for 'social dumping', prepare a literature review and collect long run statistical series on wages and productivity for the new member states, using a reference of the EU-15. On the basis of fact-finding we aim to conclude to what extent the EU27 is afflicted by social dumping.
