Course report
Sofia, Bulgaria
Project management has a young, female face in Sofia!
This training course on Project Management for trade unionists was attended by 16 young trade unionists, from 9 different trade union organisations, the clear majority of whom (14) were women.
The participants prepared their project proposals before coming to Sofia, and in their working groups they agreed on a single project. The structure of the course allowed them to develop the proposal based on the various requirements of good project management practice, i.e. clear definition of the project, planning, budgeting, dissemination, team work, and use of available information on European grants.
Some of the participants were enthusiastic enough on finishing the course to consider prolonging their partnerships and presenting their project to the European Commission.
