Description

This report was the outcome of an ISCOS-CISL project supported by the European Commission. Training sessions for Turkish trade unionists were organised and addressed issues including European trade union representation systems, communication skills and strategy planning. The aim was to strengthen the capacity of Turkish trade unions in the fields of internal organisation, collective bargaining and recruitment methods. The trainees have successfully implemented measures for improving conditions in workplaces and the results of their work were disseminated at the final conference of the project held in Istanbul in September 2007.
